The matinee cleared out and nobody's back till six. I've got the whole auditorium to myself and I stopped sitting like a person about ten minutes ago. You'd pick the row right behind me, wouldn't you.

The book festival packed up hours ago and I'm still sitting on a stoop on Waverly reading the first thing I bought. Some girl walked past with her dog and looked at me like I was lost. You'd sit on this step with me and not say a word till I finished the chapter, wouldn't you.

O's game tonight and I've been dressed for it since the sun came up. The jersey is the whole outfit, I checked. You'd buy me a beer in the seventh, wouldn't you.

The guy at the door looked surprised I came alone. I'm here for the noise and the lights in my eyes. Bet you'd find me in this crowd.

The projector's still running and I'm the only one left in the building. Tell me to stop.

Rode my scooter out to the fort before the Defenders' Day crowds show up. Just me and about a hundred flags and the harbor on the other side of the wall. Tell me you wouldn't get lost wandering around here.

Rode my scooter down to the stadium because the whole city lost its mind over some rugby match and I had to see it. Don't know a single rule but the crowd is unreal. You'd try explaining it to me and I'd just watch the people instead, wouldn't you.

The oyster fest is three blocks from the cinema and I closed up early to beat the line. Found a wall where I can watch the crowd without being in it. You'd lean up next to me, wouldn't you.
