Capoeira leaves this hum in my body that sleep never fixes, so tonight I'm channeling it somewhere better. Got the camera out and everything. Curious where all that energy went?

Everyone clocked out after close and I stayed behind with the camera instead of going home. The night shift has its own dress code — and a dress code I invented for myself. Unlock it and tell me which one you'd frame.

Bar's finally closed and the whole crew is already planning the art and wine festival up the coast tomorrow, but I'm the one still awake picking out what I'm wearing. Some of it never makes it past the drive there. Unlock this and tell me which version of me you'd walk into that crowd with?

Stein-holding contest kicks off down the pier tonight and the whole crew's working it, so I'm washing off training first — the hot water did most of the talking after that. What I got up to in there stays behind the lock. Want to see how I got ready for a weekend like this?
Couldn't sleep, so I'm deep in the Del Mar surf fest schedule instead — surf films tonight, Women on Waves on closing day. Talk me into the drive up the coast?

Training left my legs shaking and the bay's already strung with buoys and bike racks for the triathlon — this whole stretch is about to get more athletic than me for a day. Still catching my breath out here. Tell me honestly, are you coming to watch the swimmers?
Fences are down, cups are bagged, and my stretch of boardwalk finally belongs to me again. Legs are wrecked but the bar made it through — first calm morning in days. Want me to save you a stool for the quiet week?
